Happy 101 Day! I just wanted to take a brief moment and let y’all know that I’ll be visiting Missouri and Kansas later this week for a series of Wild Turkey sponsored events. From blind tastings to book signings, I’ll be sharing my passion for Kentucky’s Finest. So, if you’re in the two-state area (or don’t mind traveling), please take a look at the following options. I’d love to share a pour and talk Turkey!
Red X – Riverside, MO
Thursday, October 5th: 6:00-7:00 PM
Join me for a cocktail and fireside chat on Red X’s patio. We’ll also sample the following expressions from Campari’s whiskey portfolio:
- Rare Breed
- Rare Breed Rye
- Russell’s Reserve 10-Year
- Wilderness Trail Rye Whiskey
But if that’s not enough to reel you in, you’ll leave with a signed copy of American Spirit: Wild Turkey Bourbon from Ripy to Russell and a swag bag of goodies.
For more information, please visit the Red X’s website.
Gomer’s of Kansas – Lenexa, KS
Friday, October 6th: 5:30-7:30 PM*
I’ll be offering a special presentation in Gomer’s on-site classroom, though I promise it’ll be a lot more fun than learning! I’ll also be available afterwards to sign books and answer any questions you might have.
*Please note: Pre-registration is required for the classroom presentation (5:30-6:30 PM). Registration is not required for the meet & greet and tasting session (6:30-7:30 PM).
For more information – including event registration – visit Gomer’s of Kansas online.
Big Cedar Lodge – Ridgedale, MO
Saturday, October 7th: 3:00-4:00 PM*
Sure to be a blast, I’ll be taking participants through a “spirited” journey through Wild Turkey and Russell’s Reserve expressions. Truth be told, I’ve never been to the Ozarks, so this is sure to be one to write about. Who knows – you might just end up in a future blog post!
*Note: Tickets are required for this event and seats are limited.
To purchase tickets ($65), please visit Big Cedar Lodge’s website.
Thank you for your interest. I’m truly excited about each one of these events. And a very special thanks to Campari America, Red X, Gomer’s of Kansas, and Big Cedar Lodge for making these possible.
Cheers!
